Dr Karen O’Hanlon

Dr O’Hanlon is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Stablepharma, previously holding the position of VP of Clinical Operations at Boyds. She continues to lead the development functions for SPVX02 Tetanus diphtheria (Td) vaccine, which include the conduct of a pivotal clinical trial and manufacturing scale up activities prior to planned commercialisation.
Dr O’Hanlon is an expert in the translational design, regulatory strategy and operational conduct of all phases of clinical trials and she has worked on studies across the EU, with a focus on vaccines, biologicals and advanced therapies.
Karen has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Manchester University and has extensive experience working in clinical drug development for over 20 years.
